Celebrations
This past month we had 2 elder women come to our gate and asked if they could come and put on a show for our children. When we agreed we had no idea how big and wonderful the show would be. There was about a dozen women who danced several different dances with different outfits. Two 12 year old girls dressed in ancient Chinese clothing also performed a dance. Then several older men played a few songs with Chinese string and wind instruments. All the dances and music represented the Chinese culture. The children enjoyed it so much that they did not move for the entire 1 1/2 hour production; which is pretty good for 4-9 year old children.

This year is the first time our children have ever celebrated Christmas and we are trying to make it very exciting for them. We bought three Christmas trees and Michelle taught all of our children how to make paper ornaments for a fun “CHRISTMAS TREE DECORATION” competition. We told our children we are putting their trees up on the web site and going to ask you to email us which tree you like the best. If you email (ben@homeofhope.org) and vote whether you like:

Thank you for taking the time to read about our family. Please let us know which tree you liked the best; the winning room will be announced on the 18th and will get to go out for a cup of HOT CHOCOLATE!
