Before celebrating Easter we explained to the children and some of our staff the real reason for the season. Its so easy to get wrapped up in the holiday spirit that we can forget the reason why we celebrate. Thankfully someone donated resurrection eggs last year to help us explain why we celebrate Easter. For some, it was a reminder. For others, it was their first time hearing and accepting the truth:)

The week before Easter, Michelle and our three sons Tyler, Eli and Jaxin (pictured above left to right) made a Easter craft for art class. Soon after seeing the boys craft, all of the children wanted to join in on the fun. So we bought paper and gave the kids glue and scissors and told them to be creative…and careful;) They designed each door on their own.

We are so blessed to have so many children to spread love to..all 25 of our children.

Michelle double checking each basket to make sure everyone had the same amount of treats before the basket hunt…we do a basket hunt instead of an egg hunt.

While the children were eating dinner, we hid all the baskets. After dinner they ran out to find their basket.

Its an absolute joy and honor to be able to serve these children. We thank you for all of your support in spreading joy into such wonderful children. Our reward is receiving these beautiful smiles, the joy and love that each child gives back; there is no greater joy or reward.
Bless you
