Happy Holidays!
Each year all three Home of Hope families get together for Thanksgiving. It’s a great time of eating and for fellowship! This year some of the older Gongyi children joined in on the fun as well as some dear friends from Xuzhou.
Getting ready for Christmas here in Pingyu usually takes a couple months. Michelle and I started Christmas shopping back in October. We also have a program before Christmas. Our children and staff will sing, dance and this year perform 2 different plays all explaining the reason for the season. And of course putting up lots and lots of decorations. This past weekend we put up the tree and most of all our decorations. Please look at the pictures below to see all the joy the kids had decorating the tree. As you will see it became a competition whose ornament was the highest on the tree. Our poor tree started looking like a Dr. Suess tree:)
This year it was our eldest son Jaxin’s turn to put the star on top of the tree!

We thank you for taking the time to check out our website. In all the excitement we did not get everyone’s picture but we all had a great time. We will be celebrating Christmas early this year on the 21st because Michelle will be heading to the USA to visit her mother who is sick with cancer. Please be lifting Michelle and her family up during this time.
Blessings
