New Year Party

DSC_0308 Our family has grown quite a bit these past 5 years. We started off with 9 children (not including our 3 own boys) and 6 employees. We now have 30 children (not including our 3 own boys), 11 staff members and our cousin Hobbs who has volunteered for over 2 years.

Slumber Party

A few years back we started a New Year tradition of having a huge slumber party. All the kids come in wearing the PJ’s and robes. Our girls slept in our dinging room (above) while our boys slept in our living room (below).

Activities

The kids watched movies, like you see above. We also played board games and had a Paper Football tournament. This year to make it a little more fair for the younger kids, we split up the kids into two different groups; 11 years old and older competed against each other and 10 years old and younger competed against each other.

Gabe and Wendy played against each other. Gabe kept hitting Wendy with the football, so every time he flicked the ball, Wendy had no idea if he scored or not because she covered her face.
